I just wanted to let you all know that she is finally home!  She starts physical therapy to help get her muscle control back on Thursday and she should make a full recovery!  She has been talking non stop to her siblings and actually had got a headache from talking so much LOL!  Wow it IS amazing how resilient kids can be.

Praise God! This sounds exciting.  However, are they sending her home because the abcess went away or lessoned or because there is no need to keep her in the hospital so long of a time?  Just curious so I pray more directly.  Sending lots of love and prayers.

I'm not sure yet Karla.  All I was told is the medicine is working .... I'm going up to the hospital today and I'll post as soon as I know more.

Alrighty...I wasn't able to go see her today, my son and I have small headcolds and I was afraid to take a chance on giving it to her.  But I talked to her on the phone and she sounded a bit more upbeat than she has been.  She announced quite happily that she can pee again (lol the way she said it was so funny) She can walk a little (more like a shakey shuffle), but her legs are very unsteady and she will most likely need continued physical therapy when she does get to go home.  

Meme and grandpa went to visit her today and the nurse told them that she will be going home on Monday the earliest.  The nurses also said there is now only one other patient in the Pediatric ward so they are able to give her a lot of one on one attention and play games with her to keep her busy.

I'm so happy right now, it was so good to hear her talk a bit more like herself today.
