Title: Manhunt (Not CH)
Post by Charlie on Sep 8th, 2006, 5:00pm
Not a lot happens in my neck-o-the-woods so this is a big deal happing five miles from me:

Every news organization in the country is running around chasing this Ralph Bucky Phillips meathead that shot three NYS Troopers and so far killed one. He's good. He's been evading capture for weeks. Every day they get him in their sites and he gets away. Shot at him this morning too. He escaped from a Buffalo area jail with a can opener....  :o

This guy is gonna be Swiss cheese soon. http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/hunter.gif

Also...........Some local place in your neck of the woods--Burger Joint---Had a special---" The Bucky Burger"----It seems that the State Troopers told them that if they didn't remove that name----they would find " Several" violations against the establishment.

He's surrounded near Frewsburg, NY and Russell, PA. Last spotting was on the golf course near Frewsburg.

Tell us about it....the guy is a survivalist, hunter, and has had lots of help. There was a restaurant near Randolph, NY with the "Bucky Burger." Since the shootings, no more Bucky t-shirts or food have been seen. Guy ripped off a local gun shop of 41 weapons, some of them pretty nasty.

Our old camp was pretty close to where this guy is supposed to be surrounded. It's quite a thing for us.

Yea, the guy didn't like the long probation period he was going to get, that's why he broke out.  He will probably never make it to the inside of a squad car alive.  He wrote his death sentence when he snipered the troopers.  They never saw it coming.  He has had a lot of help from friends but that stopped when he murdered the troopers.  Big bucks on Buckys head.

Actually, big news has it wrong. It was 4 days. As a Buffalo newsman said: "You can stand on your head for four days. So what's the matter with this guy?"  I guess we know now: He's a moron.

By the way, he got out with a can opener through the ceiling of the jail. Time for some remodeling maybe....

I'm glad he left my area. The road blocks and the night time helicopter fly overs was annoying. I can't believe that his friends and family have been helping him. I imagine they will be convicted of helping a cop killer.

So it was wrong to be glad he left an area of thousands of acres of dense forest so that he could actually be caught?

It was worth some noise to get things back to normal at a couple of rural schools. Kids were kept after school the other day for their own safety.

Too bad he was caught alive. He should have been killed while resisting arrest

Isn't cop killing an automatic death penalty in NY?

I imagine the police are having a hard time being civil to him right now.

What really irks me is all the publicity he got. That just encourages the next one. People do strange things for 15 minutes of publicity. Now some bleeding heart will say he was mentally unstable and just needs help. UGHHHHHHH!

I feel the same way about Saddam. The kid should have offed him on the spot.

On the death penalty. No one has been executed in New York since the mid sixties.
