How much do they charge per month as a seller?

They don't charge any monthly fees to sell there but they do charge fees for listing an auction and also final value fees on the purchase price if your item does sell.

Here's their education info: http://pages.ebay.com/education/selling.html

You can set up a "store" on there for like $14.95 a month.  The stuff you list in your store dosen't get auctioned, it's a fixed price thing.

I only have like 3-4 things, so that wouldn't really pertain to me.

If they are bit sized items, you may want to try http://www.craigslist.com and pick your city. I've sold some furniture, pots, pans, etc, there.
