Saturday, Sept 2, 11am at the Salty Dog at Faneuil hall.

We will be meeting Mr Las Vegas himself (BobG) for a few drinks and good food. Also to say goodbye as he boards a cruise ship that may never return.....LMAO ;;D

The above picture captures the new surprise customs inspections inaugurated first by Boston for incoming passenger and cargo ships.  First on the list to be profiled were those wearing redcoats.  Here we see undercover inspectors searching their cargo for suspected illegal taxes without representation.  
 The thorough search brought protest from the redcoat and loyalist population to the point of them being intolerable. After almost three more years of smuggling taxes through the under-financed customs officials of the colonies, a Declaration was drawn up politely asking the redcoats and followers to leave the country, however it took enforcement of the words on the parchment to get them to comply with the new system in place.  A scraggly bunch of Yankee doodles spent several years drawing a line in the Atlantic that any king's reach cannot cross.

Bob and Renon - careful, we think Timmy's puts something in the coffee.  We sometimes refer to Timmy's as THC (Tim Horton's Coffee, dontcha know ;)).  We aren't complaining, mind you - just acknowledging it.

You can't get near a Timmy's in the morning here for the lineups at the drive-thru - bleary eyed drivers, white knuckled on the steering wheel, waiting semi-patiently in line for their morning fix.  Don't EVER try to butt in line at a drive thru for Tim's.  I think it actually goes on your criminal record here.
