Never happen.  He will be a great Senator but never elected President.  There are too many people who would vote against just because he is black. Yes its  Crazy and Stupid!  However,  I believe that he will leave a great mark in his carreer.

The guy is smart, articulate, compassionate, is accumulating  polical savy, and connecting to foriegn affairs.

Personally I dont care if he is black, white, short or tall.

Long as he didn't previously have long hair and numerous tattoos.

I'd vote for him in a heartbeat!

One reason is, some things that have come to light about my hometown and all of the radiation testing that has been done in Madison, IL. Alot of the ex- factory workers who are still alive suffer various forms of cancer due to massive radiation exposure.

This has been all over the news here, since the remaining guys have banded together, feeling like the government used them as guinea pigs and forsaken them.

Barak Obama is fighting for these guys to get them compensation and paid medical treatment.

What is messed up is... the way they'd get the Uranium and Thorium dust out of the buildings was... to blow it out with an air pressure hose!!!  :o

I always said that there is something in the water here. In reality, it's in the air!!!

I think Obama is a man of the people regardless his skin color (should not even be an issue but for some, sadly still is). However, if anyone could break the color gap to be the next president... I think he'll do it.

After 8 years of the Shrub in office - I think people would vote for Gilbert Gottfried!

Oh We should all wish!   I would bet on a women before a black man and I dont think that either will be anytime soon.  I personally dont care who or what they are as much as thier track record!

No matter what one's political persuasion, I don't think many people would argue that Barak Obama is an impressive speaker, and an impressive person--one we can expect to hear much more from in the future.

Obama is awesome.  He is very articulate and seems real, not some fake not a very nice person.

I dont think he was born in the USA, and therefore can't be president.

Anyone confirm this?

I like Obama.  Unlike most of our elected representatives, (along with those that want to be our elected representatives),  who tell us what we want to hear, Obama tells it like it is.  I don't think he give us the bull**** that we get from so many of the other.  It's refreshing.  We may not want to hear some of the things he's telling us, but maybe we NEED to hear some of the things he tell us.

Oh, and by the way, if someone has a problem with his color, maybe they should close their eyes and open their ears for a change.  They might just learn something worthwhile.
