Title: What The CH Beast & A Terminator Have In Common? Post by Carl_D on Aug 24th, 2006, 2:02pm I'm at work today on my day off just putzing around. My client is gone for the day but plumbers are here to do work and so I got to pick up an extra day. I thought I'd share something with y'all I came up with since going back into cycle. What does the Clusterbeast and The Terminator have in common? They both are not human, they both want you dead, and just when you think they are gone for good and Skynet has been destroyed - another one returns!!! However, the biggest thing they have in common is this: They will take a super whimp like Sarah Conner and turn them into a war machine. In the first "Terminator" movie lucious Linda Hamilton is the bumbling waitress who is slightly neurotic and a total basket case. She learns of what is to come and tells Kyle Reese, "How can I be a mother of the future if I can't even balance my own checkbook?" While being tormented by the impending doom of the I've been a wuss most of my life. Never had a tolerance for pain. I was never a fighter - but a lover. I always sought to create instead of destroy. Now, back in cycle, I am battling with everything in me realizing that we have "No fate but what we make." Even when the damned beast or terminator does leave, you can always hear him whisper... "I'll be back." It's all true. Think about it. Peace, Carl D |

If it were possible, it might have some cachet with the gothic set. A "how big are your cojones" thing. I doubt anybody would ride it more than once, though. And repeat business is where your profit is. Best, George |

Title: Re: What The CH Beast & A Terminator Have In C Post by Carl_D on Aug 24th, 2006, 3:40pm Wow! A CH simulator? Virtual Cluster Headache? I'd think it should come an easy slip-on helmet, so you can sneak up on someone, put it on them, and they can wake up to it... ... for the full effect, of course. George is right. The money is in repeat business, and you'd better have a damned good lawyer and insurance for the people who sue you due to the 'traumatizing event.' ;) Peace, John Conner 8) |

Title: Re: What The CH Beast & A Terminator Have In C Post by Charlotte on Aug 25th, 2006, 1:25am I think I will pass on the simulation, thanks. Someone would be truly demented to go on such a ride voluntarily. Charlotte |

Title: Re: What The CH Beast & A Terminator Have In C Post by roy21302 on Aug 25th, 2006, 5:44am I think Yorki has had a very good idea here, I can think of a few Doctors that I would pay for to have a go on a CH simulator, and I am sure everyone wlse could come up with a few more each-------worth thinking about------------------------------------------------Cheers Roy ;;D |

Title: Re: What The CH Beast & A Terminator Have In C Post by Charlotte on Aug 25th, 2006, 8:37am When you put it that way, I do have a short list of 2 Drs & 1 neuro - (not the new doc & neuro) and even then, the short ride & not above 8; and 1 person who ran for sheriff & lost - long ride 10. Title: Re: What The CH Beast & A Terminator Have In C Post by Carl_D on Aug 26th, 2006, 12:52am When I think back... I have a few former employers who were pricks about my CH I would love to see put through the CH shredder - just once at least. There was also a Neuro years ago who asked me, "How am I supposed to know these are that bad?" I exlaimed rather pissed, "Well if you knew ANYTHING about clusters, you'd know how bad they are!" I always said I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I changed my mind! The CH beast is my worst enemy and I wish I could somehow just give it all fucking back to him!!! I'm afraid if someone does break into my apartment while I am home - I will take it out on them. That would not be good. Warring peace, Carl D |

Title: Re: What The CH Beast & A Terminator Have In C Post by burnt-toast on Aug 26th, 2006, 7:23am When I read this thread, this is how I imagined things going. Terminator, "I'll be back" (add the accent) Sufferer, "God, I don't think I can take any more of this, but... I'll guess I'll be waiting". Uninformed (insert favorite choice) "I had a really bad headache like that once and......" Simulator "Like this..." (Zap, sizzle, crack) Formerly uninformed, "What the.... I'm alive?..... is my eye still there?.... did it leave a hole?.... dear God get that thing away from me!" I like it, It could work. Tom |
