Any of y'all that tend to frequent my The Words Unsaid site, has probably notice a little change... I've removed the poems that didn't really live up to the premise of the site. I have moved these poems to my MySpace account (Yes... I've gone and created a MySpace profile... I am officially lame) at http://www.myspace.com/shadowlrd You'll notice that all the poems there are poems that were already posted on Words Unsaid and/or on the message board, but there'll prolly be more in the future, as this is where I'll post my more public poems for the time being. The Words Unsaid will be left open, and will remain as a repository for my deepest, darkest, most demented poems, rants, etc.

Why did I go and sell what little soul I have to the MySpace demons? Insanity has always been a good excuse for me... Plus, I was bored and needed something to do, so I decided to drive myself even more crazy by playin' around with MySpace. And of course, I was prolly pretty damned drunk at the time.

BTW you don't need a translator... I had myself a few glasses of wine and everything became quite clear and now I think I understand the meaning of life! ;;D

The word prolly has a better FLOW to it.....don't ya think ? I don't know too much about blogs or them type of sites but they seem to resemble a 'blab' type deal from the few I checked out. Is that the idea.....just sort of blab about stuff and how things are and how things are going ? Is that the idea....if so that's cool.....was jus wonderin. Rhym's and reasons Pam

To each his own, I guess, Pam. I guess having been instructed to write properly, it just bugs me a little. Will my world come crashing down? No. Is it just one more degradation of the written word? Yep.

With the new blogish word 'prolly,' it always makes me think that I don't even know anybody who pronounces it that way.

I think its a great site. I found it a long time ago when someone was giving someone else a hard time about using preventive vs. preventative.

I just find the evolution of things, including language interesting.

No disrespect meant Shadowlrd... How things get into our culture doesn't necessarily have anything to do with how, or why, others use them, years later.

Some evolution just bothers me more than others. Such as, if people don't like the way baseball caps were designed to be worn, and change things out of nothing but a sense of disrespect....it bothers me.
Don't like the way we wear our caps...design your own f'n hat.
Change a word out of disrespect, all it does is add more disrespect to our everyday lives and culture.

Dunno...wanna....prolly....and ain't are words I use alot.....kind of an accent I think sum of us develope and alot of us pronouce the words that same way. It feels more laxed and comfortable.....more like a true conversation.....and it'd take a hell of alot longer to tell a story pronoucein the words correctly. Kinda like the difference in how people dress......dare to be difrerent Pam

It's not ment to piss off the more CORRECT people or more intellegent that don't like the misuse.
