BUT...........on the bright side, no cycle during the holidays, right?

AND.........I already have my meds, right?

AND........I also found a pretty good abortive, in a pinch.
Y'all are always talking about getting to cool/cold night air. The other night I was pretty darn uncomfortable, remembered the cool air thing which is in short supply in August in VA. Next best thing: one of those coolie cups that have the freeze gel inside. The air inside of the coolie cup is COLD and it fits right over your nose & mouth. A few deep breaths and the pain subsided some. I know I looked pretty dumb but hey, you go with what works, right?

hugs to all. I'm doing FINE. Everything is pretty mild (specially after last year's hell!) and I can handle whatever comes.

oh yeah, gimme some more hugs. :)

Yea, cool is cool! ;;D In a pinch when I don't have acccess to meds at work I use the walk in freezer (-20) I stand in there for as long as I can stand it (~10 min) with my hands on my ears. It usually knocks a K8 down to a 3.

a cool young lady on here helped me to rethink my attitude when I get really low. I'm "readjusting" ;)

Determined not to lose the battle or the hope or my sanity this time around. :)

My grandpa used to be the choir conductor(sp) of our church. He learned to play piano by ear and learned pretty much everything he knew by reading and watching.

I remember him at the piano, in the early evening with my grandma beside him singing "Keep on the sunny side, always on the sunny side, keep on the sunny side of life..." It was one of grandpa's favorite songs to play.

Who he was, has always been a huge driving force in my life. I wish to God he hadn't of been taken from me, but he was in 1989. :'(

Anyway, your post has just made my heart smile Jennifer. Things are so much better when you can find something positive in a world of hurt.
