Title: tree guys Post by cootie on Aug 22nd, 2006, 9:14am The tree guys are here.......co hired by the electric co to cut more wider paths under the power lines out thru all the woods in our areas and hills and valley's. There cuttin more trees and brush that grew up under the lines again.....and I always run out and ask them if they could possibly cut a few EXTRA for me in the way of the satillite or blockin sun and they do it......hee-hee. So there cuttin a bunch of problem trees along the creek also now for me and bunches on the hill were afraid will sumday fall and wack the house. Lots more to worry about in this dense woods but there the closest ones. Dam is it ever noisey out there....got several huge trucks all around the house and out back and a bucket lift (cherry picker ?) in the back of the kennel. Got huge chippers goin rite now too and alot of CUTE guys all over in green shirts. Hopein they don't trash my flower beds or hit any power lines. Better get off here cuz the noise is so loud I can't see Pam 8) |

Title: Re: tree guys Post by cootie on Aug 22nd, 2006, 12:17pm Dude if I could post pics I sure the hell would......am goin to try and figure it out soo when I got more spare time....slow dialup doesn't help the process. Anyhow......I did get some cool pics of them working. Geeze zo pete they got this cherry picker thing that goes higher then a carnival ride.......dam.......and that thing sure is impressive how manueverable it is. These are some BIG ass tall ass tree's they are working on and it's a special crew. I think they still call them human squirrles ? Guys that climb to the very top of the highest trees needing cut with ropes and a belt with chain saws and stuff attatched hangin off it. Plus they have alot of obstacles and workin on a VERY steep hill straight up and down and dense woods and brush. They hang on and cut and trim and then toss down branches and then work on the trunk cutting it into sections practically in there face with the saws and swingin the cut chunks OFF to the side and toss it down while hanging onto the tree below the cut . "VERY impressive work".....VERY dangerous !!! Some of the guys were cutting at the same time in different trees so high up I could barely see them and the lift was so high up I had to walk to the window and look straight up to see the bucket !!!! I just asked if they could dump the huge chipper load in the yard for me to keep......nice chunks for along the creek. There on break now and laying and sitting all over my back yard ( :o ) ........needless to say I am not getting any work done today cuz I am drawn to peek out the windows. Tee-hee-hee-hee. The guys do good work and clean up real good.....but it is a spectacular thing to watch. I mean they are cuttin some SERIOUS stuff here. They still have the other hill to do yet. So the hills "still" have eyes and cute butts Pam 8) 8) 8) Just thought I'd share the story cuz unless you have ever watched them do this sort of job it is hard to explain......and hard to vision the dangers of it all. Takes a certain type of guy to do it. I bet they drink alot of beer on there time off........they will be here all day and probly part of tomarrow. Big job here and there half done. Noisey day........and the smell of chain saw exhaust in the air. These guys are all from down south hired all summer for the job.....there doin several counties. |

I think I will sneak a few more pics while they work on the other hill along the driveway and house. DAM I need to get some work done.........eye candied Pam ;;D 8) ;;D There still on lunch break and makeing GUY noises......burping and laughin and sexual moans I haven't figured out yet.
