Hell, I just got out of bed not too long ago. I'm still having my caffeine and cigarettes. Too early to think about dinner.

But, oh yeah, I did take some fresh-caught out of the Pacific  salmon steaks out of the freezer yesterday, going to cook them later on.  Should be great!  ;;D

But if you fry them..they aren't raw...if they are raw...they are not fried.........Oh, I'm so confused.

Me, Im making boneless chicken breast cut into pieces and braized with garlic butter then baked with braized muchrooms, brocoli and cheeze sauce served over fresh egg noodles and fresh greated Romano.  Desert is a large Caesar salad.

Meggie even made a chocolate cake with milk chocolate frosting for dessert.

I wish everyone a wonderful dinner tonight, and a PF night to come.  Love and share with your families, the blessing of hot food on the table, a roof over your heads, hot showers, and soft beds.  So many in this world dream of the things we take for granted.  Even those here in our own country.  All I ask, is to set ourselves aside for one moment tonight, and remember those less fortunate.  While we eat well, others starve. Possibly just up the street from you.

perk!  seriously?  May I look for the recipe in my email box tomorrow morning, Mel?  Pwease?  Yum!!  :)

Mike's back home from deep sea fishing and we now have a freezer full of coho salmon, spring salmon and halibut.  The hali was caught, vacuum sealed and chilled to near freezing yesterday, the others the previous 3 days.  I'm just drooling over it but Mike's missed our Alberta beef and has been eating fish all week, so we did ribeyes tonight on the BBQ, fetuccini alfredo, caeser salad, garlic toast.  Should I have served that with a blood pressure cuff?  Nuthing better than our own Alberta beef though.

But dayamn....that hali's got my name on it!

Do you know my aunt and uncle crossed the border into Montana last week and they CONFISCATED a can of beef consome soup AND their t-bone steaks?  Bet those border guards enjoyed their dinner that night.   ::)Unbelievable.  Our Premier was right....that one rancher should have shot, shovelled and shut up.  One friggin cow.  (That was bred in the States, by the way.)  What a farce that whole deal was.

My Dear Helen,

I want you to know that I do have my certification for domestic compliance however; being as there is a vestage "Y" chromosomes yet in my body I do retain a bit of uncouthness.  I have been known to write my name in the snow, belch from time to time, utter profanity while undertaking certain mechanical repairs (it helps facilitate a better repair) and last but not least, food can be eaten cold from a can or can be the same thing day after day with little complaint from me.  I'm easily satisfied! ;;D
