why in england does our summer consist of 3 weeks sonshine/3 months bloody rain
being a builder,iv managed one day this week!
its peing it down again today/and apparently it will for the next 2 weeks.

Amen to that, the crops are dieing here and all the stock tanks are dry, the ranchers here are trucking water in. We need a soaking rain bad.

We've got lots of water this year because of a heavy snowpack last winter. But it doesn't rain here much from about June to September. Trade you some actual rain for a little of our lightning-caused fire season (normal).

The NIFC (National Interagency Fire Center) tankers are flying over on their way to slurry-bomb fires all day long. Kinda smoky. It's cooled off to about the mid-eighties, though.

I'd always heard it rains 90 % of the time or looks like it will soon in England.....is that true ? Guess it would be rough to have an outside job there that depends on dry'r weather. Got gloom here and rain expected tomarrow and maybe steady rain....an inch in some areas. Well I am headed to the blues fest tomarrow where Brad is already setup with the camper along the river near the band stage. I will HAVE the blues if we begin to float Pam

Been so wet here and humid that all you smell is MOLD......blech........

Wow I love your accent.... even in type I can hear you loud and clear.... We have had heat, heat, heat... my grass is allllll burnt and we need a little rain...(never thought I would say that after the June we had) Isn't that supposed to be the deal with living in England??? I hope you have a better week... get some movies, popcorn, snuggle and enjoy.... ree

funny you should mention snow....my kids dont,believe that snow can get bigger than 3 inche's,but im sure when i was a child..it got to at least,3 foot....those were the days....always used to snow in or around christmas...

Last one i went to had Koko Taylor, Eric Johnson, Junior Wells, Lonnie Anderson, BB King and The Allman Brothers @ The Woodlands Tx... It was an awesome all day event !
