OK some people here has known I have been having some really bad pains in my side and back off and on for a year or so now. Well last night I almost went to the ER it was so bad. I waitted it out and went to my doctor ( I only get to see a PA not a Doctor when I go). They found blood in the urine. So they did x rays, but the guy that reads the x ray would not be in for 2 hours. They tell me to go home pick up a anitbiotic and a pain med. That if it turns out to be kidney stones they will refer me to a urologist. I am waitting by the phone.
Pray its just a infections and NOT STONES! Today cost us $90 with meds and doctor co pay. If I go to another doctor thats $30 more God forbid they give me another med.
Everytime we start to see daylight seems something hits us again. I am still smiling. But in pain ! I guess thats a good sign. ;) I wish they would call already so I would know. I hate to wait.

You have such a knack for making something like pain seem to be no burden at all! I am sorry your hurtin-for certain!!

What you are describing sounds suspiciously like what happens to me when I am massively stressed. I once spent 2 weeks on "kidney- stone" watch....intense pain in my back and side, no relief, so for 2 wks, I did the whole kidney stone thing, pain pills, a strainer and so forth. The pills did nothing to touch the pain....lo and behold, it subsided once I was done with a particularly difficult project.....the pain just vanished!!!!!!
Stress may be great for CHers........but, well, just think about this, please! Do you feeel stressed?? I didnt! I was just powering thru a nasty deal(so I thought!).and I thought I had everything in control....in fact, I did, cept, my body was telling me different!
I HOPE there is a simple answer, but even if it is stones, they are easily fixed these days, and you'll be back to your old comfie self once again.

Oh Its a burden but I don't have time for it! I had cancer a few years back.aWhen I hurt inside I get scard. So when I hear its something that can be fixed, like kindy Stones or infection. I get happy I guess.

What happen was I have bad doctors, I been complaining about this problem off and on for a year. They treated it with pills for depression, and I told them I felt it was my Kidney that was two months ago. I been going for a year about this problem
but they said my urian test was ok. I kind of wanted to tell them, I told ya so when they said they found blood in it but I didn't.

sorry to hear this TS... fingers crossed here and prayers going up for you. Hope you're back to your spitfire self soon!

Drink lots of water and keep yourself hydrated. Flush that infection out and take your pills!!

Crappo E That sucks. And they say CH is like passing a stone in your head. So now you got the head thing and the kidneys going. I need to lay hands on you GF.

They called this morning and said that they could not read the xray because of bowel in the intestance. But they said they were sending it somewhere else to be read. If they can't see it how do they fiigure someone else would. Then she said that if I wasn't any better by Monday she would refer me to a uoligest (sp) ! I took my meds and guess what, I had a reaction from it. I am itching all over eyes, ears, toes I mean all over. I called the doctor so they are calling in another med.
I only took two of these pills and just going to have to throw the rest away. Its like throwing money in the trash. So I can't drive because I am on Pain pills, Buddy has to drive a hour and half home pick up my meds get me some benidreal (sp) so I can stop itching. That what is happing so far. The pain pills are keeping the pain away. I still don't know if its a infection or stones. Its the waiting game again.
