He's safe...
for now anyway... he sleeps,
in a bedroom next to mine.
Loving "welcome home son"
long sweet hugs..
Nothing like holding your baby
to be held by him instead
He is such a man now.
Talking of adrenaline and
daring feats, facing new ones to come.
Content because today is now,
and not tomorrow when,
I'll have to say good bye again
The pain, the void, I push those aside
because
He's safe
at least for now anyway... he sleeps.

Scotts home......yay... just a visit before what ever is to come this year. Its so nice to have him home.... love ree

I have been on both ends. I know what you are feeling tonight. It is indeed a good feeling when they are back under your roof and safe for now.

I know how happy you are right now. You know and I hope he knows that many people hold him in their prayers every night, along with all the men and women who put their life on the line for us.
