Jackie, that is a masterpiece that I just barely remembered reading. This belongs in a very public place where every new found supporter can read it.....where every cluster sufferer can read it.

Having been on both sides of the fence, I know how important it is for both sides to have it framed and hung in a select place in their home.

I say we print this (with Jackies permission, of course)on a fine quality paper and add it to any order that comes into our store.

Cat showed me this about a year ago. This is probably one of the most powerful, well written items I have ever read on this board.
Emotional pain can hurt even more than the damn beast.

I had not seen this before. Jackie you have done a wonderful job of describing what I know that I am doing to Linda.

I need to print this on something hard and let her beat me with it every time I get mad because she is pushing, pushing and all I want is to be left alone!

How she has put up with 20 yrs. of this is beyond me and as I told her Mom the other day when she called to check on me, I thank God that I am the one with the beast and not Linda because I know that she is the stronger of the two of us.

It is pinned in the supporters board for all to see, however not everyone goes there.

That post was one of the very first things I ever read here.

It's what made me create a screen name and begin posting.

It's how I've lived for the last 15 years.

Supporters, sufferers, those in remission - we're just a big dysfunctional family drawn together by pain . . .

Thank you all for the kind words.

I'm deeply humbled by your comments.

When I wrote that we were in very dark days and had been for years. Blake was suffering up to 10 hits a day... :'( We had tried everything available and nothing was working. But.....there is hope and we can prove it.... :) He's now off ALL meds (after 15+ years) and doing the best he's ever done....only using 02 via the clustermask (thank you Ben and Hap). This could all change tomorrow but we're thankful for every day. Of course, we were happy for every day back then too....just thankful to have made it through another day alive.

We'll all just hang tight together, keep fighting the beast and supporting each other and one day everyone will be better.....I just feel it.
