hey folks
just b4 we went on holiday to Canada a couple of weeks ago, grandma sweet boy asked if we had seen the shoe tree.
well here it is, the famous shoe tree from south lake road near minden / haliburton.

maybe you have a shoe tree near you some place ??

RIck - thanks for posting that picture. Brings back some memories for me.

We used to go to Tory Hill every other weekend about 30 years or so ago and my kids always got a kick out of that tree.

We actually have one outside the town I live in now.

I'd heard about this....scratching it off my to-do list, however! I know bubblegum is not allowed on the streets of Carmel.......was this a method of protest or something??
