Title: Think you're having a bad day?
Post by JeffB on Aug 7th, 2006, 5:50pm
One of the girls that work for me went to pay her rent on her lunch. While at the bank, she parks in a handicap space, locks her keys in the car, gets a $350.00 ticket. Calls her landlord to explain that she won't be able to pay rent until tonite, to which the landlord replies with a demand for $75.00 late charge. Now this sets off her husband who has the people skills of a baboon to call the landlord who has now given them 30 days to vacate the property.
Then after aaa gets her keys out I give her 10 minutes to get back to work..................was that wrong?  ;;D

That's a very bad day!  I need to read that thread when I think that I'm having a bad day, it might make me think differently.  And yes, that was wrong!  :)

Horror story.

These are the kinds of things that would make being friendly with a Tony Soprano type worthwhile http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/slap2.gif

Whew.

Was that wrong??.. that depends on rather or not you enjoy adding insult to injury? Pouring salt in a wound will not heal it.

I Luv Ya Bro.. but you could never be my boss... it appears that you have no compasion....

Any boss that would do that should be told exactly where to put the job and precisely how to get it there!

You're kidding, right?  You didn't really do that to a person that had already had a crappy day?  I'd suggest that it's not just her husband that has the "people skills of a baboon". ;;D

Hey now.....I took her MY 3A card and since I used to drive a wrecker (Tow Truck), I told the dispatcher that the car was running with the keys inside and that I was in a horrible area. The truck got there in less than 20 minutes. I just wanted to get her troubles off her mind. ;;D

We are in the staffing business and believe me, a ticket no matter how much along with locking ones keys in the car is nothing compared with what we put up with employees(temps).
Besides, we all went Joe's crab shack last night on me and I don't think she remembered her ordeal after the Margaritas!
Sorry if I offended!  ;;D

I'm with Chewy. That is one of my pet peeves. An expensive lesson learned.

Or be like me and have an actual handicapped placard.  Of course, I get yelled at by old ladies because I don't look handicapped.  But then again, looks can be deceiving...
