Title: I don't understand
Post by JenniferD on Aug 7th, 2006, 8:18am
Always late October/November. Just 2 spring exceptions in 20 years, otherwise, I am out of the woods till late fall. So wtf is up with the shadowing now??? Its been 2 weeks every night at 9pm lasting for about an hour. The only reminder during the day is the droopage in the left eye and a couple of little twinges.   I just don't understand why the change.

And I'm hoping this is not the beginning of a cycle. Its too soon.

I am on the same cycle as you but had earlier appearances happen to me before like you. Fucko. I hate the shadow, or twinge. The summer is extremely volatile with lots of humidity. I had three days of the eye pressure and shadow last week and took red bull and that helped. WEnt away for a few days. I am detoxing so that is all I took. Will see how it goes.

i never question CH. it will do what it wants when it wants to. Been getting some "rogue" middle of summer hits myself, after I run this past week. Heat, humidity, change of sleep cycle, whatever. O2 seems to handle these one's tidily.

Hope they go back where they came from when the humidity breaks and I avoid a true cycle.... and you do too!!!!

I'm not going to tell you that it's not a cycle coming on.  I don't know.  But I'm reliably seasonal like you, and after twenty years of the way yours have gone, I'd be surprised to see a full cycle bloom out of this.  Now and again when I'm out of cycle, I get a little run of twinges or mild shadows that doesn't blow up on me.

Simply the fact that you've gone two weeks without the thing blowing up on you sounds encouraging to me, though--I don't know about you, but with me, when a true cycle comes on, it's unmistakable--a couple of Kip 5's that wake me from REM sleep for a couple of days, then a fast ramping up to full-blown Kip 8's and above within a week.  Then it's "clobberin' time".

So don't go thinking just yet that you're going to get nailed.  It could be you're just suffering the effects of the weather, or something.  No answers here, I'm afraid, but maybe a little encouragement...

Best wishes,

George

Oliver Cromwell said "Trust in God and keep your powder dry"
I love that quote and personally think covering all your bases is your best bet too.. if nothing else it gives you peace of mind that you ARE ready.
get the red bull in! Get stocked up with whatever else it is you use and if you can, get o2.
I'll be here wishing with all my might that everything goes out of date without being used hon
lots of love

I would say that CH is like a woman, and you'll never understand it, but I'd get mugged! Seriously, it's been a weird year for a lot of people on the board. My two month cycle, which should have ended in December, or at the latest January, is still going strong.  I'll go with Lelimeys quote, trust in God, but keep the powder dry..........and the oxygen close by!

I liken CH to a male...........and dispute Guiseppis  theory.......CH's are from a male mind.malevolent and unpredictable and mean spirited and ugly! >:(

So, in summation, Guiseppi's wrong.........

Thankewverrymuch!

PS, Jen, sorry for the hijack........I'm truly hoping this is just a blip on the screen.........but, always, always keep artillery at hand. The beast likes to change the rules frequently and you need to be one step ahead of him! Wishing you more PF time now!

thanks all. Mine has always been pretty predictable, this b*stard has caught me off guard.

And I am FULLY enjoying every second of pf time and working on getting as healthy as I can be before the next cycle does start. Strengthen the body now to fight the beast later.
