I am thrilled to announce a new addition to our family.  

We are welcoming Katherine Joy Huihui (HwayHway).  Katie is currently residing at an Orphanage in Guangdong Province, Peoples Republic of China.  She is 17 months old and was born on March 1, 2005.  She is described as a quiet and affectionate child who loves to be outside and likes to be held.  We are using Adoption Advocates International to bring her home and we hope to travel to get her in February of 2007 – just before she turns two.  She was born with polydactylism – she has two thumbs on her left hand.  She is otherwise healthy, happy and growing well.

We are so thankful and blessed with supportive family and friends.  Through this long process of research, reading, and searching we have felt God’s call stronger and stronger with each passing day.  He brought together our family from as far away as Missouri and Massachusetts, now He leads us to China.  We have faith He will give us the strength and resources we need for our journey.
