If you like Ev - check out Lacuna Coil! Kind of the same thing, only a little "more" I think.

Try "Our Truth", "Swamped", "Circle", "My Wings", and "Heaven's a Lie".

They are not as Top40 as Ev, but that makes them better to me :) And the lead singer is waaaay sexier than Amy Lee, fellas!
