I know that lots of folks back here loooove beer, so I thought that I should let you know about this party I'm going to this weekend.

My godparents have one clear tradition: they arrange a home-brewed beer party each year, always on the last weekend in July.

Now, home-brewed beer or sahti, as we call it in here, is not exactly beer... but it doesn't stop the beer-lovers present at the party drinking loads of it. ;;D My goduncle is a master what comes to making it and it does taste good...if you like home-brewed beer.

I must admit that I haven't had a drop of it since CH begun (alcohol is a trigger for me), but there are lots of others reasons to go. Like my godparents, their wicked kids, the crazy people to attend it and yes, donuts!!!! My godaunt makes loads of donuts for the party.... ;;D
(All the other donutlovers, don't worry, I take pics, I promise! I'd send some over, but I think that my godaunt would notice if I left with a bucket full of them...)

Send donuts and beer!!! If you can't then send the recipes. I love making home brew and can easily fire up the turkey fryer for a batch of donuts! ;;D

I would love to send the recipes. I maybe can persuate my godaunt to give her famous donuts recipe, but goduncle's home-brewed beer is secret which he's gonna keep! ;;D

Sure wish you could send me a donut or two or three... beer do pretty good in a thermus, I think... any ways we could test it out...
