Title: Re: What an odd storm... Post by kimmiedawn81 on Jul 24th, 2006, 5:10pm Honey, I know. That's how it was for the St. Louis area last Wednesday. My boyfriend lost power last Wednesday night and just got it back yesterday afternoon. Trust me, St. Louis area had about 500,000 homes without power, it was horrible! Especially since Thursday was around 100 degrees. |

Title: Re: What an odd storm... Post by ShadowLord on Jul 24th, 2006, 7:11pm Kewl! I can see my hometown on that radar map! The hellhole I live in now don't have any good storms... All around us get big winds, killer lightning, and boomin' thunder, but all we get is 5 minute rain spits, a little thunder from lightning that flashed like half a minute ago, and one or two gusts strong enough to pick a cart corral up and throw it across the parking lot. I should move to Florida... Maybe a good cat 5 hurricane will blow through and cheer me up. PFDAN......................................................................... ShadowLord |

Title: Re: What an odd storm... Post by Charlie on Jul 24th, 2006, 9:18pm Nice pix Mel. Interesting to say the least Here in western NY things are weird. Not one mosquito so far. Very unusual but it has been dry enough and I'm not complaining. They also believe we had some kind of tornado here. Last one was 1945.
