Since it was hotter than hell this weekend I didn't leave the house so I was tuned to Fox,CNN,MSNBC and watched the conflict. I kept hearing people talk about Israels response and how it was too much. IMO they need to be heavy handed and put these groups down for good. Lebanon needs to take some responsibility and get rid of Hezbollah or get them under control.

They haven't hid Hezbollah that hard.  They have hit innocent civilians pretty hard, some of whom live hundreds of miles from the missile launchers that are a threat to Israel.

How can anyone that doesn't live there have an opinion that amounts to anything more than self righteous indignation?

I am was born in Israel and try to stay out of it.....
the way I dont tell the Americans if its right or wrong
to go to Irak.... Afganistan...... or for that matter to have  gun control or capital punishment......
As long as you dont live there and have to live it...

WTF, I can't sit there and watch missiles fly one way and shells the other and not have a friggin opinion. Who's being self righteous here pal? Sorry for the thread, I'll change the topice to "whats your favorite tree"?

That's where the subtly of "too" enters into the term "too much."  If they are attacking a missile launcher and a civilian a few living yards away gets hit, then that is an unfortunate consequence, but pretty much unavoidable.  When they target people who are no where near military targets, then some people call that too much.  I haven't seen the media suggest that Israel not defend itself. The objections are to targets not related to the threat.

I have an almost 200 foot pin oak in my back yard and my property owes it a lot as it's made things pretty nice there.  

I have to say that I love peach trees though. There is very little as tasty as your own fresh peaches. I really miss the one we had.

I have a japanese red maple that I love but my favorite tree I think is a white birch... ever since I was a lil girl which was up to yesterday.... (today Im big) I have loved white birch bark trees.... very beautiful..... and interesting.... ree
