I think not - I've discovered that strangers are simply friends that our hearts hadn't met yet.

This was the most awsome weekend. I met so many of you that I've "spoken to" on this board and via PM's and every one of you are exactly what I thought you would be - a warm, loving and caring family.

Thanks to all of you for making my daughter Teddi feel so welcome. She's come away with a new understanding of her crazy Mama and her on line friends.

I so want to name names, but I fear leaving someone out that was special and I don't want to risk that chance. Suffice to say - you're all pretty darned special people and I'm glad I had an opportunity to meet you.

Special thanks to Donna D. and the entire board for a job very well done. To Mel - thanks for picking us up at the airport and for being patient enough to wait whilst we all smoked our brains out!

Carole I've wanted to meet you for the longest time and getting to do so was exactly how I'd imagined.. only not long enough. You're as lovely in real life as you are in PM's and I miss you terribly.
Next time we all need to go a few days beforehand just to socialise. There still won't be enough time but we can try!

No strangers there Carol, just family that hasn't met each other. Glad you could make it and hope to see you again soon.

Carol, I am so happy I got to meet Grandma Sweet Boy! I had the nervous nellies about meeting so many "strangers" in Milcon, but found no strangers there (maybe a little strange, but not strangers ;;D) - I found family. And, you are a part of my family. I'm so glad you and Teddi were there and I had the chance to meet and talk with you both.

Hey Charlie!

I'm relating totally to your trouble putting names to faces! As I scrolled through all those unbelievable MilCon pics I had to keep going back again in a effort to remember who was who. I'm used to people's "CH.com names" and most of the captions mentioned everyone by their real names.

For all that - I enjoyed every minute of it - even though I was't there. Can fully understand how hard for all of you it must have been to to return to the hum-drum planet after such a soul-inspiring get-together!! None of you looked like strangers to each other. In fact you all looked like exactly what you are - part of one huge and very special family. If I have to rob a bank to do it - I really want Brian & myself to be there next year!

Carol, for what some would consider a small gift, you filled a huge space in my heart. I wear my pin with pride, and will always think of you and my Canadian kin.

I'll get that song by Terry Kelly, Pittance of Time to you and Andrea both. Have Kleenex ready.

Well we DID get to spend a lot of time together and you are like a mother to me :P. You were another one I had not met and you were a joy to be around. I hope you can make another convention some day, or if you guys have one, maybe Ruthie and I can come to yours.

The only strangers I saw were hotel employees and drunk "wedding people". The rest were all close family separated by vast miles and continents, but connected at the heart. Loved meeting you Carol, you are such a joy to my heart.
