I had to wait a few days to let it all sink in. I made the Dallas convention last year and DavCon this year but I would have to say this was the best yet. I got to meet some old friends and meet new ones. I got to spend some quality time with some of the people dearest to my heart, but its never nearly enough. I wan't to thank everyone for making my Dad feel welcome. I believe that was the most fun he has had in years. He talked about you guys the whole 12 hrs back then told Mary all about it when we got to my house. You guys made a big impression on him. He told me that as a group of friends I could do no better and coming from him that is a great compliment. He is already talking about next year. You guys are the Best, thank you all.

Matt,

You and your Dad are the greatest! Barbara and myself really enjoyed talking to you both. It amazes me how comfortable I felt around a group of people that I have never met in person, only on-line.

Well Matt, I must say, you made a wonderful impression on me! The first time I saw your face, I could just tell what a kind hearted man you really are. I wish we could have sat down and talked, but that's how it works out sometimes.

Matt you're like a brother to me. You're always there, you're always watching out for me and you'd take on all comers on my behalf. I've missed you daily since last year and even knowing I'm having you and Mary stay with me in September just isn't enough to combat the loneliness of saying goodbye to you.
Meeting your dad was one of the best bits of the week for me. He is gorgeous and I loved chatting to him. Tell him I will be picking those rocks for him with love.
How do you feel about a stepmother? ;)
Give Craig a huge hug from me and tell him I want him posting here or else! While we're on the subject we need to see more of Mary, I missed her so much this year.. I wanted to drink pink drinks with her again! Mary, I can't wait to see you in just a few weeks

As to you Dad....what a dandy he is!!!! All that personality and quick wit....not to mention he knows and loves NASCAR too.

Matt, you were one of the people I most wanted to meet. I was so relieved that you didn't change your plans to come to Milcon, and your father is a delight. There is never enough time to spend with everyone, but at least we have much to look forward to. You also received one of the best awards--much deserved. ;;D ;)

Matt, I'm so glad you decided to bring your dad, and I wish I had gotten to chat with him more, I have read some really nifty things here about him.

It was about time we got a chat in, I still find it strange recognizing someone I don't really know, but sorta "know". You know?

No Jimi he was out bid on the couple things he wanted, he did enjoy upping everyone elses bidding though. He has been going to auctions for a long time and is quite good at running the price up......I was going to say something but it was for a good cause............
