I got email from a dear friend of mine this afternoon. We've known each other since kindergarten, but we became friends bit later on.

Now, she's graduating from university this fall and she's hosting a huge party for us friends the same weekend. And when does that happen? Naturally in September, either 23rd or 24th.

Exactly when I was planning to be in London, meeting more of my clustersisters and clusterbrothers at HelCon! :( What's a woman to do?! Gotta choose and I hate that when it's a situation like this. :(

I'd appreciate your advices a lot...
Should I tell my friend that I just can't miss my clustermeeting? (The same pal is one of those people who tell you that she's had a HA once when you tell that you just got hit... I have told her what ch is all about and showed her this site, but no, she doesn't get it...)
Should I come to London only for few days?

I have to think about this... Luckily there's a slight chance that my friend would have her party on Sunday which would help a bit. We shall see...

Your friend will only graduate once, we'll be clusterheads forever.

Maybe you could plan a special "graduation weekend" with just you and your friend for another time? I'm just throwing out ideas here.... :)

Hmm... maybe I just tell my pals that we're celebrating the graduation in London! ;;D

She didn't made it to London during those 3 years I studied there, so about the time to go there now... ;;D

Send me tickets to England, I'll fill in for ya, wig and all. You enjoy yourself with the new grad and I'll fill ya in on what happened. Will need a new pair of heels tho....

The things I do for people....I'm such a giver!  ;;D

Sanna, Ijust posted on the general board under "Open letter". Please read it about meeting other clusterheads.  There is no experience like it in life.   If you haven't had the opportunity to get together with other clusterheads, you have to do it.  I'm sure your friend would understand.  I know it's a touch decision.

I just read the Open Letter you wrote & replied. If you would have asked me this week ago, I would have said that I haven't met another clusterhead yet. But now I have. I got to meet Hirvimäki & his family here in Jyväskylä (check "Off to mee another clusterhead" thread). It was amazing experience! It made me want to meet other clusterheads asap! :)

not too bad jeffb
just got a auto injector and it works atreat(kills the beast within 15 mins)used it 4 times now.

Umm.. well you KNOW I'm prejudiced since I put the Hell into Helcon  ::)
At least you have the option to come for a few days Sanna so all is not lost.. you know I'll get you to the airport for whatever flights you need and I'll make sure you have the absolute time of your life here too  :)

WOW, what a tough choice.

I know nothing about your friend, but what I "DO" know, is that we are family here and we'll still be here for you and will totally understand whatever decision you make.

This is just the small stuff Sanna, don't fret too much over it.

And, actually, our family here is better than real family................know the saying "you can't choose your family "...........well, I chose this one and glad of it.

So, know that you've already made the right decision and follow your heart.
