To everyone at the convention – I LOVE YOU

I don’t where to start, I have so much to say, about everything this weekend. I guess I will start at the beginning ;;D.

We arrived Thursday night, walked in the bar and all the hugs began. So great to see everyone again, some from 2 years ago in Nashville and some from Davcon in Jan. Hugs and kisses from everybody, and a greeting from Jonny as only he could give. Of course it would have been nicer had he even remembered it the next day :-*.

Thanks to Pep for lending me a bathing suit to join everyone in the hot tub.

Played golf the next day, with Carol and her daughter. I don’t think a lot of golf got played really, and a few new games were invented. There is now golf cart polo and soccer golf.
Thanks to Carol for putting up with me on the golf course.

Thanks to Brewcrew and his band. I danced till I got overheated and got hit.
Thanks to all the helped when I was getting hit. Man Fast delivery of Icepacks and O2. Sorry I can name ya everything and everyone becomes a blur when you’re trying not to make a complete ass of yourself in public.

Woke up the next morning with Big time back problems, not sure if it was the golfing or the dancing, but man oh man did it hurt. I did not walk but shuffled for the rest of the day

Thanks to Carol for my new heating pad and protecting my feet ;)

Thanks to my husband for EVERYTHING, including sitting in the women’s rest room with me while I was getting hit.

Thanks to Woobie for not killing me for forgetting to pay her back for getting my kids in the water park, (Check will be in the mail with in the next couple of days)

Thanks to everyone that worked on the convention it was awesome.

Thanks to the BOD members of OUCH for all your hard work.

Thanks to everyone for all of your kindness and just for being part of the family. I wish I would have been feeling better and been able to talk to more of you. I am sure I forgot someone some where for something, if I did please forgive me. I love you all.

Gena,

Even with all that you were going through with the attacks and back pain, you still had a smile on your face and I could just feel the warmth from your heart. Picturing you in my mind makes me smile and you made me feel so comfortable and happy being around you.

We definately have to get together sometime and go shopping!!!! ;;D

:'( I miss you guys.... If I had my way I would have packed everyone of you up in my car and taken you home with me.

Jean I would not have to pack you though because, Thomas would already have had you packed in his car, LOL.

Rickyshot - I am so glad I got to finally meet you, sorry we could not talk more.

Mel - We are so going to get together Shop and drink wine!!!!! OK maybe just drink wine ::)

Gena - tell Thomas I put the adoption papers in the mail today - you've just become one of my kids, although ya gotta ditch the accent. ;) and learn to say eh!!!

I've got to say, for someone who was getting her butt kicked all weekend, you were the life of the party. Sorry you had such a rough time and kudos to you for putting your troubles a side and making the most of a challenging weekend.

Gena I've been looking forward to meeting you (and the big yin!) for so long and you lived up to every expectation and so many more besides.
You are gorgeous, inside and out. My only regret is we didn't get longer to sit and chat (like about six months for starters! ;) )
It was a priveledge to meet you, I feel a stronger person for having friends like you and it did a burnt soul good to see a love like yours and Toms.. thank you for that too [smiley=hug.gif]
I'm sadder today than I've ever been, but I'm happier and a more rounded person too.
