Title: Bummer Post by maffumatt on Jul 11th, 2006, 5:19pm The guy I grew up next door to was killed this morning. He was a year older than I and we lived next door to each other for 15 years. He came home early from work and found his wife in bed with another man. I am not sure if Timmy stabbed him and then the guy shot Timmy, or the otherway around, but the results are the same. He was about the best friend I have in this world. I may not make it to the convention, I'm not sure yet. |

Title: Re: Bummer Post by JeffB on Jul 11th, 2006, 7:05pm Sorry for your loss. I don't want to get down on marriage but I won't do it again. I remember when my wife told me she was pregnant with a second child, only she didn't think about the sex we didn't have the months before she told me. Why do people cheat??? |

Title: Re: Bummer Post by Cathi04 on Jul 11th, 2006, 8:15pm Matt, I have been speechless since I read this. How many lives have been destroyed all because someone wasn't playing by the rules? Normal reaction when someone is widowed would be to offer support. I think I prefer to kill this woman! Wherever you are this weekend, there will be people who care and are available to talk to. I hope you will do that. Cathi-who is grateful for the husband she chose so many years ago!!!! |

Title: Re: Bummer Post by cootie on Jul 12th, 2006, 12:57am Well I guess he did what he wanted to do and it kind of went from there.......eye for an eye......tooth for a tooth......all is lost in love and war Pam Seems there could of been better options on this but what went down is what was ment to happen as sad or sick as that mite sound. Such tangled webs we weave...... |

Title: Re: Bummer Post by maffumatt on Jul 12th, 2006, 8:32am He was set up, 1 she knew when he was coming home, 2 the kids were gone, 3 she knew how he would react, 4 he was shot 4 times, once or twice wasn't enough? The guy is going to walk because it was self defence. Timmy did stab the guy. Timmy was well liked in that part of the country. He didn't have a mean bone in his body. He was always ready to help anyone in need. It's just not right. |

Title: Re: Bummer Post by maffumatt on Jul 12th, 2006, 12:07pm It wasn't Timmy's house it was the other guys. Its hard to get the story straight when you live 400 miles away and you only hear rumors. Timmy was a big man and he had a knife, so I can understand the shooting. It still sucks. The guy was family to me and my family. http://www.texarkanagazette.com/articles/2006/07/12/local_news/news/news02.txt |
