Due to some new and very Shi##y complications with my newly diagnosed hemochromatosis I have cancelled my room and will not be able to make the Chicago event either :'(

I really don't want this to become a rant so I will just say that I am really bummed that I still am not going to get to meet any of you and I just wish it would stop pouring crap down on me for awile!

You will all be in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope both events are huge succeses!

You are not the first person here with hematochromatosis - I can't remember who else was asking about this a while back. Wrote a little about it:

Tim, I am so glad to hear from you. What do the Doctor's have you doing for the Hemo.? Ginny had this twenty years ago when neither of us knew what it was.Too much Iron in her blood. She would have to go for blood-letting 7 times a year. Eventually her blood tests showed it improving but she still has to go every other month to have her blood checked. If it is high she has to lose a pint of blood. Man I'm just happy to hear from you and wish you the best recovery. Remember God only tests the " strong !"

Tim, I'm sorry you won't be going. This was going to be my chance to meet you. We'll pull together the NC/SC meet and greet off this fall, hopefully, and I will expect you to be there.
