1.18 into the first round. Ortiz by Referee Stoppage.

It was kind of weird, actually. 5 elbows by Ortiz, and the ref called the fight. I think Shamrock could have continued.

edit to say - maybe not. After looking at the replay, Shamrock looked dazed. Ortiz had him...and quick.

Who owns the belt in the title fight ? Tim "the maniac" works out in next town over from DavCon Iowa

The Maniac won by decision just now. It was actually a bit of a boring fight. Went all 5 rounds - all standup.
