hey folks, I am not joking or trying to be a weirdo,(allthough I probably am one), but has anyone ever tryed an orgasm to stop a CH? I have had CH's for 21 years and have a wife who has allways been willing to do ANYthing to help!! This is not an easy thing to acomplish while dancing with the beast ,I agree, but when "its" accomplished it has helped me in the past. Almost instantaneiously! Just wondering if anyone else has ever tryed it?

I had a headache the other day and made the comment to my husband..."you know what gets rid of that, don't you?" Needless to say, I'm normally headache free!! ;;D

I don't suffer from clusters, and have been blessed that I don't have to witness them either...knock on wood...but I do want everyone here to know that I think of each and everyone of youl that does! Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers for painfree days!!

No, I don't think this is a weird question. After all, whether it worked as a major distraction, or whether it worked by some physiological mechanism, it would be a valuable thing to know.

I can see where it might be subject to some abuse-- "Hey, love, could you help me out here, I'm getting a headache..."

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you from my experience one way or the other. My first impulse whenever I get a hit is to hide, get away, and make sure that I'm alone. I don't think it's trying to protect myself when I'm vulnerable so much as trying to make sure no one else sees it.

Just a quick P.S. I had a cycle start about 9 days ago,( my first visit from the beast in exactly 2 count em 2 years!) and I upped my verap. and instantly started the pred. ND VOILA,,, PF for 7 days.!!!! I got his number!!!!! Oh, I also upped my h2o, and hit the o2 when the shadows start. That 2 year span was the longest in 20 years!!!!!!, they allways start at the same time each year! That 2 year span was the longest PF span in 20 years for me.. It was very nice, to say the least!

No you're not nuts. There are a lot of posts in the archives that talk of this and to me it makes sense. I maintain that anything that requires some circulation shift.....and an orgasm and all the fun getting there surely does that.....can sometimes kill a cluster.

Sometimes exercise works, being cold and of course some Viagra tests. 8) :o

george, I know EXACTLY what you mean when you talk about not wanting any one to see you with the beast. My boys are 10 and 12 , they know I get headaches, but I NEVER,NEVER let them see me dance!! My wife on the other hand ,god bless her , has allways been there for me. And you know as well as i that it would be impossible to fake a CH to gain her favors!! Cool thought though!

Ok, let me try to understand this.....when the beast is rapidly growing in your head you can get a hardon?

Ive had CH for 32 years (30 chronic) and I say you are full of shit! aint no CH dick going up when the Kip is going up......if so, you dont have CH.

dude relax,I said it wasnt easy, and you are damned right, when its really screaming aint no way mr. happy is goin up!!!! We try to catch them early. I mean EARLY , before the, "head through the drywall phase".It doesnt allways work. meaning , the pain increases and I cant lay still to let her do her thing. But we have found, that when started EARLY , it SOMETIMES works. And it NEVER ,hurts any worse!!!!! I sometimes think its more of a concentration thing than anything else. And oh yea,, I am trying not to let the "you dont have CH" comment piss me off!

My fifteen-year-old daughter (she's an only) has never seen me take a hit. Even my wife of thirty years has only seen me take a hit a few times, and that was because at the time there wasn't anywhere else for me to go.

Yeah, I would have to agree with Jonny on this one.
The wife plays a good flute, but its not a magic flute. ;)

We get interrupted all the time by the beast. There is no way I could keep going once it gets up to a 6 or so.

I know Sean said he gets interrupted also....more like a trigger.

Unfortunately, this is a REAL no go for me. I am one of the lucky ones (and there are others) ... An orgasm TRIGGERS a hit for me. Lucky me!

And I also hide my hits from people (even if one of my hits is filmed, and on the internet) .. Only one of my four children has ever seen me get a serious hit, and my ex-wife only saw a couple of them.

folks , I wasnt talking about ,turning on some sinatra, opening a bottle of wine and slipping into something more comfy. I,m talkin about , oh shit , I think one is startin, hit the bedroom, hit the o2 ,and ,try to reach an orgasm ORALLY!!!!! sometimes it works ,sometimes it dont!!!!!!. My wife would die if she read this, (and she probably will,) but she could suckstart a harley!!

clusterchuck,, I too get interupted,by the beast, but thats when I am sweatin and bumpin and grindin , and generally working my ass off. But never during a nice layed back, relaxing BJ!
