One of his very close friends, Jasmine G., died at the young age of 16. She died while giving birth to her baby. Her Mother and her had told the drs and nurses that she was alergic to pain meds. Well she was in pain and someone slipped some pain meds into her iv. She started convulsing and died on the delivery bed. The baby was then taken by c. section.

She lived in one of the poorest and roughest neighborhoods in our city. She attended our church and was in my sons youth group. Our church raised a cash offering for her family to bury her. And is bying food, formula, diapers, wipes, clothes, baby furniture, etc for the family.

My son is taking this very hard and is learning that teenagers can die. Please keep this family and my son in your prayers. The funeral and visitation is on Mon. afternoon.

It's so sad and I know that it's terribly rough on teens.

It's horrible when our kids have to learn the harsh realities of life too young.

Karla:

I will not only Pray for your son, but also for the Baby and the young girls family.

This must be very hard on him, I lost one of the children that had been a member of my youth group many years ago to cancer a few months ago and even I took it hard because of his young age.

God can and God will.
