Title: I'm so excited... Post by Redd715 on Jul 7th, 2006, 11:10am I start my new job Monday. I went in this morning, really just a formality, went over commission structure, which will be changeing come the first of the year if the new plan deems workable. Commissions are capped at this point, however, it is very very generous. Bassed both monthly and quarterly, and there is a quarterly saftey net structure. Hell, I can potentially make an additional $5,500 every 3 months up and above my base salary. This is MORE than twice my old pay scale. I've been hired places where you come in the door, and you are just another person on the payroll until you prove yourself. Not here, last week when I went in for the insurance/benifits overview and pre-empl. drug screen, Maureen and everyone else said straight forward they are tickled pink to have me starting there. Helen, the publisher, has made a point to drop everything to come chat with me and get to know me, banter about her upcoming vacation. There must have been some spilled coffee in the chairI sat in, in Tammy's office as we went over some paper work, because just moments after walking out of there, Ginger, a very sweet and near retirement receptionist rushed up to me to let me know there was a stain on the back of my slacks. I spoke with the other inside sales gal, Heather, and Roxie, one of the outside sales reps, and I must admit I believe it's going to be great fun working with this group of guy's and gal's.
