Title: Drama with the landlord on long weekend Post by rickyshot on Jul 3rd, 2006, 12:44pm Well my daughter who lived in a loft was moving out on July 1. She had a roomate and two dogs between them. She works nights and could not get to her loft till yesterday july 2. She had gotten the dogs out on the 1st to take them elsewhere but the little puppy peed and poohed all over the floor. So Dee (my daughter) gets together her cleaning supplies and bags etc to clean the place up and get her boxes and ID which was still in the loft. PS the landlord padlocks the door. When she called him he told her he wanted 300.00 to let her back in to clean the place and she would get it back. She argues with him and he tells her he hates her and fuck off etc......... Now legally she has to the 10th to get out and I was not sure about the legality of padlocking the door with her stuff in there. So I get my toolbox and ball bat and go down there cause I am opening that door up one way or the other. My two sons come down with me so the whold posse is there. The security guard said there was nothing he could do. I called the cops and told them the story and told them what I was about to do. They come down and said it was illegal what they did and to open the door. So we cleaned the place and got her stuff and the roach of the landlord got his ;;D My oldest son about died when I came out of the car with the toolbox. Diedre called the landlord and told him to come down to her face and curse at her. She wanted to fight . PS She is at my house for today with the two dogs. Godd help me...
