Title: Image of the day-Not for the faint of heart Post by Richr8 on Jul 3rd, 2006, 11:32am Photography is one of my passions though I'm a little out of practice. This is a rare short of a road runner kill. Think yuo are having a bad day? http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h215/richr8/RoadrunnerKill02699.jpg |

There wasn't too much time for thinking. A half second ago, that poor little bird was sittn' on the wall all alone. I just happened to have my camera with me. |

Title: Re: Image of the day-Not for the faint of heart Post by Sandy_C on Jul 3rd, 2006, 7:30pm What a fantastic picture. It's mother nature doing her thing. Survival of the fittest. Awesome shot. Funny, I don't think I've never seen a pic of a real road runner before. Always thought of the one battling Wyle E. Coyote :-/ Sandy |

Title: Re: Image of the day-Not for the faint of heart Post by JeffB on Jul 5th, 2006, 11:27am They do indeed beep, they also stick their tongues out when they stop and turn towards you. They can avoid injury by dodging anvils, piles of brick, and anything the Acme Corporation makes. Their daily routine includes making an ass out of every coyote they encounter. Very impressive animals! |
