Just wanted to say that. ;;D I had started a thread with ??'s about cameras, but I already knew what I wanted and knew the quality so I deleted it. Anyways, I went ahead and bought it! LOL! Jesse shouldn't get too upset tho, as it only cost me $97.81 (including shipping) and I'll be putting my Sony Mavica up for bids as soon as I receive my camera and am satisfied with it.

Good deal Mel!

I used to sell old things at grage sales for next to nothig or just give them away. Now I use everything for 10 years and sell it on Ebay for what I paid or more. That goes for furniture, old Audio Video equipment , whtever. and I have never had a dissatisfied customer.

Gots to love Ebay and inflation.

Not real crazy about having to ship stuff, but its wiorht the effort for sure.

I just bought a friggin Jeep on ebay.

I'll let you know if I love ebay after my stomach unknots, and I actually pick the thing up. It has been "fun" so far though...

Maybe in the future I will stick with the smaller stuff though.

Rich, I've been buying and selling on there since April of 99'. I think I've only been disappointed once with anything I've purchased. And in selling, I had 1 person disappointed but I rectified that by just letting her have the item for nothin. ;;D eBay ROCKS!

Lucy's house here was sold for $98,000 on ebay a few years ago. Kind of a dump but when it comes to her fans, nothing bothers them. Not sure if it was a fan that bought it though. We're tired of Lucy here but that there are Lucy shops and museums on every corner, it's good for the economy.

Kathy & I used to sell our art stuff on Ebay. It went pretty well. I'm actually thinking of doing it again.

Charlie, how can you get tired of Lucy? Loooooosee, yew got some 'splainin to do! ;;D

Jim, what sort of art stuff?

I forgot to mention that the camera is a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S50. I have to get a memory stick for it, but that's OK with me. I am looking at a 128MB stick, is that large enough do you think? The camera is older, and they don't make them anymore, but when it comes to digitals I have to buy used, as the cheap pieces of crap arn't worth my time or $$. I can't wait till it gets here!

I dunno...they are moving the museim into an old Grants dimestore so everyone driving by can see it as the speed through town not stopping. Maybe that will work though. We get several buses of fans every week.

Mom went to school with her she never let anyone not know about it. Lucy also went with our biggest local bootlegger in the 20s who sent her to New York. It's all Johnny Divita's fault. I am by no means a camera expert, but as for memory, I would try to maximize it. I guess it all depends on what you will be using it for, at what resolution you will be taking the pictures, and how often you will load the pictures onto your computer and delete the card. You just don't want to get caught seeing the perfect opportunity for a picture, pushing the button, and it say: Out of Memory. Congratulations on the camera. I think that bidding on ebay is fun.

As for the Jeep - It hasn't been TOO bad. The biggest hassle I have had is with the financing bank, who decided after the deal was almost done taht they wanted to do like 6 more steps for the process. I don't know how the seller feels about it. Going to Virginia next week I think to pick the thing up.

Cool Jim, I love mosaics!! Do you make them out of glass or tile, or many different things? Let me know your eBay username when you start to sell again, as I might want to purchase something. ;)

Casey, I'll be using it on a 1200 X 900 image size. That sound right? I don't want huge pictures, just large enough to get a good 4X6 print.

Mel, we use glass tile and natural stone. I'll see if I can dig up some examples.
