I grew up going to Capitola every summer with my mom and grandma, we spent two weeks every year there playing in the surf and playing skiball and pockerino at the arcade on the main drag by the beach, to bad they turned the arcades into bars. Lots of fond memories, thanks for the flash back, I always loved that little town. There was a guy that was a little slow, well maybe a lot but was very harmless called JoJo we used to fish with him on the pier, he was probably in his 30’s then but acted like he was about 8, very good memories.

Hey Vig and Matt,
Are we blessed or what? I've had many beers over the years in Capitola,Aptos,Santa Cruz and you're right,there are too many bars to choose from. Margaritaville was one of my favorites!

I wish they would clean up Santa Cruz a bit more.

I think that Margaritaville is were one of the arcades used to be, just wish it was the same as when I was a kid so my kids could experience it as well. It’s to bad it grew up with us, I am just sad that our kids have to grow up in a much scarier place then we did.

Well me and the ex still bought season passes for the boardwalk, the kids love the arcade there! As for me, I dig the grub on the pier and no visit is complete without a bread bowl of chowder! And Northern California would love to have a convention, clusterheads would fit right in with freaks we have here! Ha Ha Ha
