Post by Ghost on Jun 26th, 2006, 3:30pm
Big grass fire in Farmersville Tx. Right now... If it jumps the road my house is toast! >:(
My boss wont let me off work to assist.
All in all not a happy camper right now.

What if it was his house? What a prick! [smiley=finger.gif]
Is there an HR you can go to, that is just so wrong!

I hope your house turns out to be fine, many positive vibes coming your way.

Your boss needs his ass kicked repeatedly.

AND..........

He needs a little fire in his back yard.

If I were you I'd be front and center in front of your selectmen at the next town meeting. You were prevented from addressing a public safety issue that you are trained to address.

Great News Ghostmeister.. I am happy the fire stopped before your house. Here in the Northeast we have had so much bloody rain nothing would catch fire right now !!!

Well, don't do that because your boss wouldn't allow you to put yourself out if you did.

Firebomb him Mike? The powers that be there need serious painful persuasion.

Glad things worked out though.

Wouldn't it be great karmic retribution if his house were to catch on fire, and you were called out to help put it out...  If it was me, I would prolly just roast marshmellows while his house burned, and laugh my arse off.  After all... Shouldn't get too close to flames after tossin' gasoline around, the fumes may still be in the clothes.

Update! when I got home everyone had left and said it was out so me being the trusting soul that I am decided to go check and found about 20 hot spots that relit. Put them out and returned after dark again and all was good. I wasn't even there for the bad part but still got ash in my nose and eyes that wont come out. Chief said he will recheck this morning for any hot spots will see how that goes. He got pannicked durring fire it turned back in at him and almost trapped him and another in the middle of it all. Glad they got out ok though.
