Title: How quickly we forget Post by Gator on Jun 20th, 2006, 4:56am I had about three and a half days without an attack - the longest break I've had in over two years. [smiley=sayyes.gif] Was loving life, then the bastard came back with a vengence. >:( I had 4 hits between 4pm and midnight, then got my regularly scheduled 1:30am hit. It was like I forgot just how bad this shit hurts. Didn't take but just a few seconds to remember, though. Thank God for O2. Oh, well. It was good while it lasted. :-/ |

Yes to that! Us humans must have some built-in wiring to help diminish the memory of the pain. Life would be hell if we always remembered it in all its intensity. It would be hard to think of anything else. More pf time to you, Mike. [smiley=hug.gif] |

Title: Re: How quickly we forget Post by BMoneeTheMoneeMan on Jun 20th, 2006, 8:57am I hear that. Even us sufferers forget how painful they are. Its not possible for a non sufferer to comprehend the pain that we go through. Hope you can get another break soon, only longer. PF wishes BMonee |

Title: Re: How quickly we forget Post by tanner on Jun 20th, 2006, 9:24am Amen to that, I had 1 whole day of nothing more than shadows and then 2 days of only a couple HAs that broke through with a vengeance and my wife and I were starting to think that I was going into some kind of remission. Not so :( The O2 and clustermasx are still catching some of the bastiches so I am not complaining :).......Tim |

I've had lots of pf time since January, but the last 4 nights have been hell for me. Keep up the spirit...it's just got to get better! Much love, Jean |

Title: Re: How quickly we forget Post by Carl_D on Jun 21st, 2006, 6:31pm Man, I'm glad you got a break, even if it was only three days - but I hope your next CH free time will be longer than this chronic cycle has been for you bro. Even though I am in remission - I am doing my best to try NOT to remember. Though, just a taste from the beast and you can never forget it. Peace bro. I'll be talking to ya real soon! Carl D |
