Title: Embracing the Pain (new tat) Post by clarence on Jun 18th, 2006, 1:54am Deciding that I needed to embrace the pain of my cluster headaches as part of what makes me who I am, I got this new tattoo yesterday. I told the artist about my clusters, and mentioned voodoo/rag doll with needle through eye. He came back with this. I was really happy. http://translucentbeauty.net/images/Pain.jpg Great shop. Great artist. Great time. Highlight of my trip to hawaii. Casey |

Title: Re: Embracing the Pain (new tat) Post by clarence on Jun 19th, 2006, 5:38am Thanks everyone. I had a good week in Hawaii, especially with my head. For the most part, until the last day and a half, the clusters left me alone. Slammed me that last bit, and have been relentless since we got back. But, if you're on Maui, and want a tattoo, I would highly recommend Keavan at Skin Deep, in Lahaina. Mom and dad were wrong - tattoos are fun. Casey |

Title: Re: Embracing the Pain (new tat) Post by Redd715 on Jun 19th, 2006, 8:41am Very nice work Bro. I like the shading on the voodoo doll to make it look tattered and worn and old and a bit dirty. Though it's only my personal opinion, I feel part of the pleasure aspect of tattoos is in the endorphine flood while under the needle. It can get downright addicting. Pegg |
