Title: new experience Post by Charlotte on Jun 15th, 2006, 8:36pm Sometimes I get spikes that I don't notice and do wierd things at work like get every number on a document wrong. If I'm aware, I can correct. One of our attorneys (I'm a legal clerk for a public defenders office) had repercusions because on my error and wondered how it happened. I was able to say, "I have cluster headaches. I monitor myself but I must have had a spike I was not aware of. It doesn't always happen but it does happen." She appreciated the explanation. It is the first time I've been able to discuss it like that. I couldn't have done it without you guys. Charlotte |

Title: Re: new experience Post by Charlotte on Jun 15th, 2006, 8:45pm When I pay attention to every little thing, I know when I have a spike and what I do then, when I don't pay attention I still do the wierd stuff but I don't notice the spike. So, I'm guessing, based on past experience when I did pay attention. |

Title: Re: new experience Post by Charlotte on Jun 15th, 2006, 8:53pm I have a high pain tolerance. There is pain. It is not like anything on the kip scale. It comes between the sweating and the real pain. I usually get some spikes. Some are very mild, some are like razor wire being pulled through my eyebrow. One recently felt like Jack's bean stalk was growing through my eyebrow. But it's not the full on pain. Charlotte |
