How good are my docs?

Told my primary yesterday I was running low on trex and didn't feel like driving 20 miles to the neuro. No problem he says.

Rx: 20 injectors
20 vials

If you haven't found the right Docs keep searching and don't settle for less. They are out there.

I agree Don. Yours sounds a lot like mine.

finding the RIGHT doc is essential to CH. If you don't have one who'll take your phone calls -- Find another one.

Beth,

Try calling up and leaving a message directly with the doctor or nurse. Tell them you have CH and want a doctor with experience handling it. You might get lucky. My doctor as had the "no more patients" tag on for a while and still takes some.

You need to find an "in" with the doctor that makes them willing to bend the rules. Maybe chewy could ask the doctor next time he sees him/her and mention the CH connection. A little bit of begging or emotional pressure can work wonders.

Mine returns my calls every time. It might be 8PM, but she has never left me hanging.

He may have a mean streak though. I stopped him in the middle of his quit smoking speech and asked him to move on.

He moved on.

I'm sceduled for a colonoscopy.

Wouldn't it have been easier to listen to the speech and pretend you'll try?
