No wonder so many people say Google's search engine can find
Anything for you!

1- Go to www.google.com

2- Type in "Failure", without the quotes

3- Instead of hitting "Search" hit "I'm feeling Lucky"

4- Look at it and laugh at what comes up

5- Tell other people before the people at Google Fixes it

I hear ya...today has been Monday to the 999th Power!!  With so much going wrong today, nothing else would really suprise me at this point!  Seems like there is a little black cloud of crap following me around! >:(

Avoiding the obvious agreeing or dissagreeing, I can't for the life of me think why this would happen unless google wanted it to.

Google bases search rank on a formula - one of the most important factors is the popularity (the number of links to a page)  The simple truth is that there are lots of links with the anchor text "failure" pointing to the White House page on Bush.

Would it make you feel better to know that Michael Moore comes in fourth place?

This is a Google bomb from last year (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_bomb) Many web sites and blogs used the words "miserable failure" as a link to George W. Bush's biography resulting in Google indexing The web site as the number one result for those words. I'm surprised it is still up.

Any group can do this. For instance if we all put on our websites a link to Chewie's homepage ( that is if he had or could make one) using the words "Meegrainer" to represent the link, you might be able to make the search for meegrainer come up with Chewies web site.

Oh I second that!!!! my monday problem is my ex sis in law....talkin crap and spreading rumors for all of cyberspace to see.  Then of course the lovely beast....but that's a given of course....you can pick your friends but not your inlaws should be the saying!!!

It's bad in it's own little way...kinda like waking up with CH about 3 hours before you are supposed to get up, then waking up with another when the alarm goes off...one of those days.
