Title: Internet Pharmacies
Post by chewy on Jun 5th, 2006, 6:33am
Anyone watch Dateline last night.

An illegal drug lab in China producing knock off drugs. One was 100% colored gysum. Also known as drywall.

The lab is able to mail out 6000 pills per day, per customer, to US Distributors.

The US is their biggest customer.

A lab in Mexico colored their knock offs with powdered highway paint.

Their knock off of Windows has lost 3 billion dollars for Bill Gates..........But when they're knocking off drugs---that's downright frightening.

All of this stuff is sailing right through Customs.

Another snag in border security.

I didn't see Dateline. Are these knock-offs being delivered only to internet pharmacies? Even reputable ones, like drugstore.com?  :-/

They're being delivered to not only internet & mail-order pharm.'s but also to free standing retail drug stores...

The Pharmaceutical co's are working on a R.S. unit with a chip that can be read to verify the drug at the wholesale & retail level. They're also working on different security labels...

RX knock-off's are a big business...check your prescriptions carefully & if you see anything different at all...check with your pharmacy...
