Title: rest-raunchy dineing pleasure Post by cootie on Jun 3rd, 2006, 1:18am Sumtin wrong with findin a waitress that serves tables there food at a popular resturant in town crying and sick as hell in the bathroom and won't come out of the stall crying for the manager. Sick at both ends I mite add and comes out all sweaty lookin like hell and basically told to KEEP WORKING. She served most of the bar's food orders and half the resturant after her strange sudden attack of illness bout. She looked aweful..........shouldn't there be a law against that ??? Easy catch easy spread Pam Thought this would make for interesting readin material........food for thought so to speak ? Sorry to add anouther BS thread but I jus thought that was WRONG !!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Title: Re: rest-raunchy dineing pleasure Post by Tom K on Jun 3rd, 2006, 1:46am You're 110% right. If any of my staff are sick, they don't even come in the kitchen, let alone serve customers. There isn't a law, but there are guidelines. Look up your local Department of Public Heath and see if there is anything listed there. The manager is worried that they would have to take some tables and actually work, that's why she wasn't sent home. |

Title: Re: rest-raunchy dineing pleasure Post by KingOfPain on Jun 3rd, 2006, 2:34am You don't say cootie if you did or did not leave but personally as a customer I would have left immediately and made dang sure the Manager and/or the owner knew why you left and what you witnessed. [smiley=worried.gif] The Manager [or whoever was in charge of her work shift] needs to be fired. >:( |

Title: Re: rest-raunchy dineing pleasure Post by BobG on Jun 3rd, 2006, 4:57am Does the waitress eat at the same place she works? I'd have a talk with manager loud enough for other customers to hear and then walked out. |

Title: Re: rest-raunchy dineing pleasure Post by john_d on Jun 3rd, 2006, 8:38am I hate that. I was in a Mickey-D's in Cali and the girl working behind the counter had a cold so bad she could not control her runny nose or her sneezing. And then she picked up a bunch of loose fries with her bare hands and threw them back in the bin. It was ok cause I just left. But then there was the time i was in the grocery store and the girl bagging my groceries and she had a runny nose and was sneezing like crazy too, she had bad downs syndrome so she could not understand me when I tried to kindly hint that I would bad my own groceries. I was stuck and ended up washing all my food, cans, plastic containers and all. :-/ |
