A friend of mine went into Home Depot for some chicken wire. When she asked for it the attendant was horrified and said, "You mean POULTRY MESH!"

Now tell me - have the damn chickens revolted now????

I'm still laughing, but this is ridiculous. And I'm going to Home Depot to get some "chicken wire" this week! Can't wait to see if I"m corrected.

Barbara, just tell them that you do not care a flying feather about the political correctness of poultry politics and insist on good ol' fashioned chicken wire! ;)

You torture them for eggs and meat. Please give the poultry some small measure of dignity.

It sounds like a gag but nevertheless, tell them that you need poultry mesh to keep your chickens from exercising too much and keep them fattened before you cut off their heads. http://www.netsync.net/users/charlies/gifs/knife fork.gif

Next thing you know they will change soda to "pop" and call license plates on a car "tags." And if we aren't careful, people will start calling toadstools "mushrooms" and thems that call it gumbo will be forced to call it "okra." I and I na go talk like so. The politicalness of it all!!

It really bugs me when they call it "woven wire" (No. 2048-6-15 1/2 ASTM A 390). Don't get me started. ;)
