MY HEAD HURTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a better way to make a come back?

I need to start by apologizing for the sudden disappearance (SP? who cares?).

I have been up to my ears in work here in the process of getting 2 new Library buildings up and running. This included coming up with a new configuration/image for staff and public computers and then getting them all set up.

Things are starting to wind down a little now.

Thanks for the concerns from those of you who asked about me. Carl and Thomas contacted me a couple times. And for those of you who didn't ????? I love you any way. [smiley=winkkiss.gif]

After completely skipping my cycle last year with the exception of a lot of shadowing on the wrong side, the beast made a very dramatic appearance to me last night and it already looks like it's going to be a long summer.

I woke up last night with that familiar feeling like someone hit me in the back of the head with a baseball bat and pushed everything up behind my right eyeball. I'm sure you can all figure out where it goes from there.

Now, we're getting ready for our yearly Memorial day camp out and I hope I can enjoy myself a little bit there.

In the mean time, My daughter has gotten more adorable.

And I've turned into a fat ass but I haven't had a smoke in 6 months and I've gained about 30 pounds. I'd post a pic but it would be really gross.

Oh my, what an adorable picture!! And Pat, CONGRATS on the no smoking! That is quite an accomplishment, especially for a CH'er!

Remember to stop and take in deep breaths from your abdomen (not your chest, you can pass out that way, lol) to slow yourself down a bit.

I'm very sorry your cycle is back. :( I always find it inevitable, even though others like to "hope" they'll never return. Yeah, me too, but I haven't done that sort of hoping for years.

Anyway, big HUGS to you and welcome home.

The first thing I wanted to do when I woke up last night was reach for the smokes. That's what I used to do when I got hit. Chain smoke and drink coffee.

I couldn't get to the trex quick enough and it was in full swing before I realized that I was getting a serious hit.

I gave up hope long ago (Before I even knew what CH was) that they would never return.

It's good to have you back, hopefully you won't get visited by the camp raiders again this year ;) I remember your stories AND pics from last year and I'm looking forward to more of the same!

I found that the worst thing about missing a cycle is that you forget just how bad it hurts.

It wasn't just a rogue thing. I got it again same time last night but worse plus I had heavy shadows all day yesterday and right now.

Looks like all of my friends who are camping with us are in for a treat this week end. Especially if they're up in the middle of the night and catch me pacing.

For all the chronics: I don't have any idea how you manage. I don't know if I'd be able to take it like that.

Ah, Pat, I'm sorry you're back in cycle again. :'(

If you get hit in the middle of the night while camping and decide to go outside and pace, just make sure you have your skivvies on, or your camping neighbors might be in for quite a surprise! ::)

Hay Pat sorry your back as well and I can relate to doing the computer image config thing, I am an IT manager and have been in IT for 20 years now. I hate big moves and new config’s role outs they just suck. Hay if there is anything I could help out with info wise drop me an email it is always good to network with other IT professionals.
