I don't usually watch it, but I caught some of it this week. I thought they all sounded kind of weak. I would lose the grey haired guy. He looks like a loser. [smiley=looser.gif]

I would probably pick Elliot to go this week. But, following Idol logic you would have to accommodate for the fact that Chris Daughtry went last week. Who get's the voters that supported him? I just don't think the folks who dug him are going to jump on the Katherine McPhee bandwagon. They're either going to go for Taylor Hicks or Elliot, I think. Which would push Kat out the door.

But, Elliot grew tiring to listen to last night. And Hicks, geez. He's got a strange complex where he actually thinks that Joe Cocker and Stevie Wonder are channeling through him.

I read something funny this morning about Katherine's last perfomance last night "Aint got nothing but the blues" --- That she smiled and danced as though she had nothing like the blues. Oops.

I never watch this show. I end up seeing the last few minutes while I wait for House. I saw that guy last night and thought the same thing, LOL. The Joe Cocker moves with the Otis Redding song was just too much to bear... [smiley=hurl.gif]

I only got through twice out of like 50 times that I tried. I like Elliott, but he has to go. I wish Kat would have went last week, Chris should still be on there, but oh well. Can't wait to watch it!

I watch it every week :-[ See what happened when I was in Mexico - Chris got the boot! and he was the best entertainer of the bunch! Oh well. Of the last three, Elliot has a very good voice, but no stage presence. Kathryn also also has a nice voice, but she's unoriginal, a dime a dozen singer. Now Taylor Hicks, does not have the best singing voice, but he sure is entertaining to watch and listen to. He's got my vote.

IMHO, of course.

Watched it - I thought Elliot would go, and I'm not surprised that he did. He's often very good, but I thought he was the weakest out of the three last night. Taylor was actually pretty damn good last night. A lot of the time, his voice is not at all on pitch, which drives me up the wall, being a musician and a singer myself, but last night he was pretty "on." I've always liked Katharine, but I sense that Paula and Randy want her gone. I love when she sings jazzy songs, and her rendition of Over the Rainbow last night was beautiful!

I'm with Sandy in that Chris was the best. I watched him on Ellen yesterday and he was such a phenomenal performer. His voice is golden. He was my pick to win the entire thing...I'm so disappointed he's gone!

On a slightly related note, I went to 2nd auditions at the community theatre again tonight. I was the pianist. We only have 2 guys for the show, and one of them can't stay on pitch at all! This is going to be interesting, for sure...! I'm not the one in charge by any means, but they were quite impressed with my sightreading abilities, which was fun! While some people were singing, I felt like I was watching the American Idol auditions! You get some great ones, and then there are the ones who don't know they can't sing on pitch...! It's hard to sit quietly with your facial expressions in neutral!

I think Taylor will win. What do you guys think? Taylor or Katharine?

After he was voted out, I joked myself that Taylor probably wins. Now it looks like that I could be right... :)

Taylor Hicks is DaMan!!! He's my favorite idol so far.
