Holy Hell! I don't know how many of you know what Jimmy John's is, but it is a sandwich place. I ate there Friday night, started throwing up about an hour later and that lasted for about 12-13 hours. I am so sore right now. I still haven't recovered. So, if you have a Jimmy John's around your area....BEWARE! I'm not the only one that has experienced this, and I'm sure these are isolated instances, but I would not wish that off on anyone! Hope everybody's weekend has been better than mine!

I ate some bad fish once in the dining hall in college. I was curled up in the featal position for 24 hrs. Needless to say I never ate fish there again. Took a long time to eat fish from anyware. Glad you are OK now.

BTW/ you should inform the health dep. if they don't know about it.

Yeah... I hit the Jimmy Johns down near the Alton mall once. Was not particularly impressed by their too-fancy vegetarian selection.

Last time I got food poisoning I was in cycle. Now THAT was FUN!

I got food poisoning about a year ago and actually for a short while 'DIDN'T' think I was goin to make it !!!! I ate boneless terryaki wings at that BW 3's chicken wing place. Brad ran to town to grab some for take out for home........was back in the winter. I ate suma mine and he got sumthin different and ate. I got SICKER then hell overnite and the cramping was SO SEVERE my entire body would wrench up tight and I would double over with veins popping outa my neck and face. I could not move or even scream......all I could do was double over solid as a rock with so much pressure in or on my chest my heart would skip or stop. I was afraid it would explode !!!! I could barely make it to the bathroom I was so faint and weak.......would lay there and decide to make a run for it and almost pass out when I got there.......usually ended up on the floor in a pool of sweat about peein myself and peukin all over. It REALLY scared me the pain was so intense......I can see where that shit can kill sumone !!! So next day I was still bit out of it tryin to recover and Brad ate my 'leftovers'......within a few hours he was deathly ill. He would try to run to the bathroom and blow all over the walls. Serious stuff food poisoning is when it is THAT bad. Have had it before with flu like sysmtoms but this was DEADLY. Doc said selminila poisoning. And also that alot of flu's are actually food poisnong people get that comes on fast and lasts 12 hours of less.....guess there is more of it then people realize and just THINK or assume they have a virus or bug of sum sort. Guess meats bein left set out too long or undercooked is a big culprit or bits and pieces get left in containers they mix sauces in with your order and SHAKE.....then they set the container back on the shelf for the next order of that particular sauce added to be shook with the cooked meat. The last time I got food poisoning it was after eating chicken fajitas at the Applebees in Collinsville, IL. I was sick for days from that.

One of my old singers a long time ago was seriously poisoned by something from Long John Silvers, and almost died. He was in and out of the hospital and on meds for a year straight before he ever got over it.

I don't know how much they settled out of court for, but I do know that he is pretty much set for life after that.

Now that you mention that Carl I have never really felt 100 % after I got really sick.......esp since Brad got sick on my left over dinner the next nite when he ate it I probly could of sued. I just am not into that.......maybe I should wake up Pam
