Title: Mothers Day...
Post by taraann on May 13th, 2006, 1:25pm
A few quote's from books my mother gave me when I was pregnant with my daughter, one month before my mother's unexpected death... Please read the bottom....

"What do girls do who haven't any mother's to help them through their troubles?" ~Louisa May Alcott~

"I learned so much more about men by having a son."~Barbara Streisand~

"There is nothing on earth like the moment of seeing one's first baby.  Men scale other heights, but there is no height like this simple one, occurring continuously throughout all the ages in musty bedrooms, in palaces, in caves and desert places.  I looked at this rolled-up bundle... and knew again I had not created her.  She was herself apart from me.  She had her own life to lead, her own destiny to accomplish; she just came past me to this earth.  My job was to get her to adulthood and then push her off." ~Katherine Trevelyan~

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
If your own mother is still on this earth I offer this advice....
Go see her, hug her, kiss her, tell her how much you love her.  There is no way of knowing when our time ends, so don't take it for granted that there is always tomorrow.
Love,
Tara Ann

I am so sorry that you have had such a awful loss in your life.Your mom giving you the book at that time was amazing.I hope you know your mother is helping look over you and your children from the other side.It may not seem it but I believe you are never alone.Everytime I see our talk to my parents and family I always say I love you before I go or hang up.When the girls leave and when I tuck them into bed it's always with a hug, kiss and I Love you. Many times out of the blue I tell
the girls I Love you and tell them something special I Love about them.

Happy Mothers Day TarraAnn and all the mothers and Grandmothers

Minnie you are a sweet person.

Last year I didn't think alot about how much I miss my mom, but then again I was in WV and I didn't have the option of placing flowers on her grave, it's hitting me a little hard this year.  I just hope I live to a ripe old age for my little one's. :)
