I leave tomorrow morning for my first business trip! YIPPEE!!!! I am so excited. Got my bags packed, cell phone & laptop charged and Colin's clothes all layed out for Chris so he doesn't dress him funny while I'm gone. ::) I got a new cell phone tonight - it's wicked cool! - with a camera on it and everything and I didn't even have to "accidentally" run over my old one to get it! ;;D So I took some pictures of my "boys" so I can see them everyday while I'm gone. We did get pulled over on the way home tonight - whoops! - tags expired on the truck in MARCH! I thought I got 2 year tags last year but after the cop took all Chris' info we realized, nope, it was the car we got 2 year tags on. Nice policeman let us go with a warning! PHEW! That would've sucked arse to have to pay a ticket and buy new tags.

Sorry kinda rambled on there... sorry!

Hope you have a blast! That is very exciting. If I were you I'd be "ramblin'" too:)

Sweet deal on the phone. Just remember the "run over" idea and use next time......hehehehehe :-X

Moms always feel a little lost when they go away without their kids the first few times.....actually every time... this is a perfectly normal feeling..... (it feels like you've misplaced something or have forgotten to do something) You just never feel quite whole when you are away from them....... but then you get back and wonder why the Hell you didnt just enjoy yourself ....everything will be ok and even if he dresses him funny (which he will anyway) Chris will survive and Colin will bond with his Daddy......enjoy as best as you can and get some sleep have a nice uninterrupted bubble bath and relax. These times away are few and far between......just trust... love ree

Karen will do just fine. :) And she need not worry about us boys. ;;D We can hold the fort down while she's away. I must add though that I've not had much luck since she's left (it's only been 6 hours and counting) because I got pulled over AGAIN this morning after getting my tags for the vehicle. I was heading home and just hadn't put them on the truck yet because it was raining. I'm glad the cop had to get out of his car for that one because I just showed him my tags and told him I just got them and he sent me on my way. ;;D However, when the rain cleared up and I was able to get outside I decided to do some yardwork. This required going to the basement to get some tools, and wouldn't you know it our basement had about an inch of water, more or less, and the pump was not pumping it out! We had got a lot of rain very quickly today and it just happened to find it's way in to our basement that supposedly "never" floods acording to the previous owner. Anyway, got that fixed for now. Fortunately there was nothing of real value in the standing water. Wish me luck everyone. The Kelley curse seems to be in full effect this week! :o
